Tell us about your Project

WiFi Map is a leading mobile platform in the emerging DeWi (decentralized wireless) space. It promotes crowdsourced connectivity and helps people find internet hotspots nearby. Since its inception in 2014, it has become one of the top travel tools with over 150 million users.

The founders of WiFi Map believe that internet access is a fundamental human right. In line with this principle, they recently announced an expansion into Web3 and the launch of the $WIFI utility token. This token will serve as an internal currency within the WiFi Map app.

Through the launch of $WIFI, WiFi Map aims to close the digital divide and demonstrate what a decentralized internet provider can achieve in the age of Web3.

Tell us about yourself as CM

I am a Community Manager at WiFi Map, with a focus on developing the Discord server we launched not long ago. My responsibilities include content planning, assisting users with requests, finding new ways to attract more people, educating the Web 2.0 audience, and overall promoting positivity and maintaining a healthy server.

Prior to this role, I was a Support Manager at another Web3 company, so I have been in the space for quite some time. I enjoy seeing the development of the space and being a part of the process.

I strongly believe that the space has tremendous potential, and emerging areas such as DeFi, DeWi, and NFTs have the potential to become a part of the everyday lives of billions of people.

Why do you like using Zealy?

I appreciate how Zealy enables us to better educate the community through features like Quiz Quests. Zealy highlights key materials and helps us spread the word about WiFi Map.

The project has received support from many community members, and Zealy is an effective tool for streamlining this process and recognizing the most active contributors.

What’s your Quest strategy like - and your absolute favourite Quest?

I am still discovering Zealy and trying different things. I particularly enjoy the quizzes that help people learn more about WiFi Map and Web3 in general.

What Rewards do you currently offer your community?

We are currently experimenting with USDT rewards and special roles on Discord to highlight the winners. In the future, we plan to add $WIFI token rewards and NFTs to the mix.

What trends do you see in Web3? What are your predictions for what’s coming up next?

WiFi Map is an established Web 2.0 company with millions of users that has been helping people worldwide since 2014. It's great to see and be a part of the company's transition into the Web3 space.

I believe that more companies will follow WiFi Map's example in the coming years, and it will be the main driving force that invites more and more people to Web3.

What other Web3 projects are you also super excited about right now?

I am very happy with the success of our friends from Carbon Browser and wish them good luck!
