Welcome to the Zealy blog Mathis. Tell us what you're doing in Web3 and where you're based

It's great to be here, I'm the CEO and co-founder of Zealy.

I'm based in Paris, France and love spending my time working in cool and interesting places. I've just explored Europe and North Africa and before that, I was in South America. Soon, I'm planning to work a bit from Fuerteventura to go kite-surfing on my days off!

What do you do at Zealy?

I run the general day-to-day here at Zealy and ensure we have sufficient funds to plan for the future of the company. I also make sure we have outstanding people working on the team with a clear vision of what we're trying to achieve. It's all about making sure everyone at Zealy has a clear direction of where we're going.

What are some of your favourite Zealy projects and why?

I really love gaming projects such as:

• Stables, which is created by the legendary PMU (PARI MUTUEL URBAIN). This proves that companies can always reinvent themselves.
• Elynxir, because it’s a music-led community of next-gen creators, pioneers, players, and fans. I really love how they do Quests with boundless creativity.
• Xborg, which combines esports teams, crypto guilds, and blockchain protocols, topics that will shape the future!

I could mention 30 more, but I'll stop there. Just kidding, I also love R3NLT from Renault for the innovation capacity of an established company, zkSync for their educational Quests, dYdX for their entire website dedicated to how Quests work, and ImmutableX for the ecosystem they are building.

What's your favourite Quest on Zealy and why?

I love the one where you can build a creative image with Artificial Intelligence 🎨

You simply create an image related to the project universe with AI. It's extremely quick & simple. You simply have to describe what image you would like to have, and Artificial Intelligence will create it. I love it because anyone can do it, it’s fun to do, and AI-generative results are mind-blowing (Midjourney, Dall-e, StableDiffusion).

Describe what it's really like working at Zealy

It's all about having fun and being surrounded by brilliant people that don’t take things too seriously. We are basically in a very exciting space, where Web3 communities can go from very established world-leading companies or luxury brands to very niche Degen communities.

Every day there is a reason to laugh. The whole ecosystem is extremely pleasant to work in. Everyone is open and ready to do a partnership. People are helping each other to make Web3 successful. You clearly feel that you're part of a revolution, the genesis of something new that is going to be extremely big.

What are your predictions for the next 12 months in Web3?

I'd say it's about Gaming, Layer2 and brands. Plus loads more brands & Web2 corporates entering it way quicker than expected!

What do you like doing when you're not building the future?

Sports! I love sports.

I adapt it to where I live. For example, in Paris, it’s all about the gym and squash. In seaside cities, it's surf time. In Lake Cities, I wake. In mountains, I strap on my skis.

I also take some time for activities that clear and energize my mind. This includes practising yoga, meditation, and reading.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself.

I crossed India on a Royal Enfield when I was 23.
