Exploring the World of XLA Metasites with Max Kabanov

Tell us about your Project

The XLA Metasites project is a collection of 3D environments created with Unreal Engine 5 and interconnected with hyperlinks. These environments are virtually limitless, similar to the number of websites on the internet.

Hyperlinks can take on various forms, such as doors, portals, keycards, or souvenir figurines, although we are currently using portals as our primary option. Our aim is not to create a seamless, all-encompassing world, but rather a massive number of domains, each with its own unique style.

As the Central Hub Domain, we have designed a city with a "New York City from a near optimistic future" aesthetic. Players can explore mid-height buildings, while the surrounding skyscrapers are inaccessible.

Tell us about yourself as CM

I have been working in community management for the past 5 years, and have collaborated on several crypto and DeFi projects. Currently, I am highly interested in the Web3 space and Metaverses.

I enjoy my job because I have a passion for communicating with people, and receiving their appreciation is incredibly important to me.

Why do you like using Zealy?

Zealy is a great find for me. I like how I can gamify my work with the community using your service. I have noticed a positive reaction to this way of communication!

What’s your Quest strategy like - and your absolute favourite Quest?

I really love creating quizzes with Zealy! However, my favourite Quests are the ones related to memes. Sometimes, users come up with really funny responses, and I believe it's one of the best ways to engage with them.

What Rewards do you currently offer your community?

Currently, we are implementing a reward system in the form of Blur Orbs. Users can spend these orbs to get more time inside our Metaverse.

What trends do you see in Web3? What are your predictions for what’s coming up next?

One of the major trends, obviously, is the Metaverse, and I'm happy to be a part of a really promising one.

What other Web3 projects are you also super excited about right now?

I am following Sapien, Metagods, and Decentraland.

Anything else you’d like to tell the world?

I would be happy to see new people in the Metasites community. There are lots of cool upcoming events, such as contests for 3D creators and meme lovers, and much more.
