KyotoSwap: The Modular DEX with a Green Mission in DeFi

Tell us about your Project

KyotoSwap is a Decentralized Exchange (DEX) where you can trade, earn, or launch projects within the decentralized finance (DeFi) world. KyotoSwap helps you earn the most out of your crypto while also having a positive impact around the globe.

Our positive global impact has a wide range, from tree planting to ocean cleanups.

KyotoSwap's unique modular economy allows anyone to become carbon-neutral at little to no cost. 20% of all platform revenues also go towards afforestation, further helping in the battle against climate change.

For Users of Kyoto Swap, this means that just trading on our DEX will create a positive impact with no further actions needed from the individual!

Tell us about yourself as CM

My role as a Community Manager is to ensure that the community is not only safe but also up-to-date with all the latest information.

Additionally, I ensure that the social media platforms have engaging and exciting content. Making sure our Users have an amazing time within our community is important, as it helps build a foundation of close relationships with investors, which in turn helps us grow and expand within the space.

I've always enjoyed being a CM/Moderator, as it allows me to express my true core emotions about Web3 and also allows me to meet many amazing individuals on this journey.

At KyotoSwap, the foundations of the project start from the ground up, and our community is the root of a successful future.

Why do you like using Zealy?

We enjoy using Zealy for many reasons. One of the main reasons is the integration of Web3, which other platforms such as Gleam have yet to target.

The community itself really enjoys the Quests and the ideology behind Zealy. Completing Quests has helped bring our community together.

What’s your Quest strategy like - and your absolute favourite Quest?

Our main focus is social engagement, we're spending a lot of time building informative Medium articles, Reddit posts & Twitter posts - Our favourite Quest is about engagement on climate change by planting trees Zealy has allowed us to verify Users and the impact they make whilst also rewarding them.

What Rewards do you currently offer your community?

We offer $BUSD rewards and rewards in $KSWAP, which is our DEX's native token. We also give our community members cool Discord roles to make them stand out.

Why is your community the best?

Because it's not only a community but also a family that has been around since early 2022.

The same individuals from 2022 are still completing quests on Zealy today to help grow and expand KyotoSwap.io.

What trends do you see in Web3? What are your predictions for what’s coming up next?

I believe that Web3 is still in its very early days. The market is currently in a bear market. However, within DeFi, it seems that more serious and progressive projects are being built. This allows for a more sustainable bull market.

In 2021, at the peak of the bull market, there was a lack of education and serious projects. I don't believe we will see a real bull market for a few years but hey! It gives us time to build!

What other Web3 projects are you also super excited about right now?

KyotoSwap is an umbrella project of the overall Kyoto Foundation. Kyoto is striving to build a ReFi/ESG-based blockchain that focuses on bringing carbon credits on-chain.

The team has already secured large-scale partnerships such as 5IRE, Near, GDA Capital, and much more. The blockchain will be an integral part of the ReFi community and will be one of the leading ways to offset your carbon emissions on-chain.
