Inside Dexter's Community Management Strategy: How Zealy is Making a Difference

Hello and welcome to the Zealy blog! Today we have a special guest with us, Kunal Singh, the marketing lead for Dexter. Let's dive in!

Tell us about your Project

Dexter is an Interchain DEX for Yield-Generating Assets that supports liquid-staked assets and interest-bearing tokens in DeFi. We have gone live on the Persistence Core-1 mainnet with the following pools:

• ATOM/XPRT - Weighted Pool
• stkATOM/ATOM - Metastable Pool

The goal of Dexter is to facilitate capital-efficient trading and liquidity provision for liquid-staked assets and yield-generating assets, such as interest-bearing tokens on lending protocols.

Tell us about your role

I am the marketing lead for Dexter, responsible for the project's end-to-end marketing operations, communications, and community management.

My journey into Web3 began with Persistence while I was still a university student. After exploring the blockchain space for some time, I came across Persistence, and one of my college seniors was working on the project. I reached out and started working first as an intern and then as part of the marketing team.

Eventually, I started leading the marketing efforts for Dexter, one of the projects in the Persistence ecosystem. I love working in Web3 because it's the intersection of the two domains I'm most intrigued by: finance and technology. I resonate with the goal of DeFi, which aims to create an open and transparent financial system that creates opportunities for the unbanked.

Why do you like using Zealy?

Zealy provides an easy interface for interacting with and engaging the community and creates a system for easy monitoring and rewarding active members.

Since we started using Zealy, the Dexter community has seen significant growth, and engagement has also improved. Many members discover the project through Zealy, and it serves as an effective onboarding tool.

What’s your Quest strategy like - and your absolute favourite Quest?

The Dexter Quest board is divided into three sections:

• Onboarding: These are basic tasks that provide an overview of the project.
• Base Troopers: This category contains more complex quests that require more time and effort, but provide greater value to the project. Users who complete these tasks are awarded the base trooper role on Discord.
• Daily: These are tasks designed to keep the community engaged.

My favourite Quest involves members coming up with ideas for Dexter and sharing them on Discord. This not only increases engagement on Discord but also provides valuable feedback to the team.

What Rewards do you currently offer your community?

We currently have a prize pool of 300 USDC for the current sprint. Additionally, users are rewarded with Discord roles on our server.

What other Web3 projects are you also super excited about right now?

I am excited about the Cosmos ecosystem as a whole. I believe that appchains can specialize for each function, such as DeFi or staking, and create synergy among them to build a healthy ecosystem.
