Tell us about your Project.
AZERO.ID is the first decentralized domain name service built natively on the Aleph Zero ledger. It was first introduced at the ETHWarsaw hackathon in September of last year. Our goal is to enhance the user experience of Aleph Zero by simplifying the complexity of blockchain interactions. Users can register unique domains with a .azero top-level domain ending. This creates new use cases within the Aleph Zero ecosystem and promotes adoption further.
Domains will be integrated into numerous decentralized apps and serve as the starting point for a unique on-chain identity and application hub. AZERO.ID will be the first domain service to offer private domain-to-domain asset transfers. This improves the user experience of on-chain domains, as users can leverage their identity through a domain without revealing their wallet balances and on-chain activities. This is powered by Liminal, the soon-to-be-released privacy framework of Aleph Zero.

My days at AZERO.ID are filled with excitement and constant learning. I engage with our awesome community and spearhead initiatives. One of the main reasons I joined the team is because of the exceptional individuals who make it up. From the very beginning, I was captivated by their expertise, passion, and unwavering commitment to the web3 space. Working alongside such talented and dedicated individuals is truly a privilege.

We love to challenge our community members by hiding intriguing riddles in various corners of our Discord server. Once participants crack a riddle, they eagerly rush to post their solutions on Zealy, our dedicated platform for community engagement. It's a moment of triumph and satisfaction, as they not only unravel the mystery but also share their success with fellow community members.
What Rewards do you currently offer your community?
Access to our upcoming testnet requires having the OG role in our Discord. By participating in our upcoming Zealy sprints, you still have the chance to obtain this prestigious OG role.
The first sprints are live now, and more will follow. Participating in our testnet and providing valuable feedback allows you to secure a spot on the whitelist. This whitelist spot makes you eligible to join our early access phase on the mainnet allowing our community to exclusively buy and register a domain one week before the general public.

What trends do you see in Web3? What are your predictions for what’s coming up next?
On-chain domains will be the super apps of the next cycle. They will replace usernames, bank accounts, and email addresses by linking the on-chain & off-chain identities of any user. They will ultimately become the core primitive of anyone’s digital identity. AZERO.ID stands at the forefront of driving these innovations into the future while putting users’ privacy first.
