Today at the Zealy blog, we spoke to Frankie, Project Lead at Alter, a Web3 community-driven streetwear brand.

Hi Frankie, can you tell us more about Alter?

Alter is a Web3 community-driven streetwear brand, utilising blockchain technology via NFTs and NFC tags to help verify and authenticate our products. We also offer professional merchandise services to other projects, blockchains, brands and individuals.

Our goal is tO prove it is possible to create fair value in multiple ways - by offering high-quality products at a more reasonable price and giving back to our community as we grow. This is why our OG NFTs receive a profit share from the Alter brand.

That sounds amazing. Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your background?

Before Alter, I was in the blockchain industry as an investor and observer.

I had never gotten into building anything until one day when I had the idea to create Alter. It combines things that I am extremely passionate about and knowledge and experience with.

I love the community aspect and the idea of building something not only for myself but for my community.

Why do you like using Zealy?

I love that it helps verify community participation, and makes it easier to reward early supporters and those who go the extra mile in promoting our brand.

What is your Quest strategy, and what is your absolute favourite Quest?

At the moment, I am starting with general engagement Quests. However, I am putting a plan in place that I think could help in an overall marketing push for our brand.

My favourite Quest allows us to ask our community to share pictures of themselves wearing our merch.

What rewards do you currently offer your community?

We currently have four rewards on our  Zealy: physical products (caps), ICX crypto, NFTs, and store discount codes.

What makes your community the best?

I love the community Alter has. It is real, and the feedback we get helps push the brand even further. Being community-driven, and having a community that gives honest feedback is essential for growth.

What trends do you see in Web3, and what are your predictions for what’s coming up next?

Each wave has trends that people follow. Currently, I see AI as the trend. However, I feel NFTs will sway more towards real-world utility. That's why I am excited about Alter.

Our holders are rewarded based on our IRL success, so if our brand is successful, the NFTs are successful due to the profit share mechanism.

We also have a refer & earn program that is exclusive to our holders, so as a holder, you can generate a 10% income/commission on any sales you generate.

If you are pushing a brand or project and, in return, that brand/project is generating revenue from your efforts, you should 100% be compensated.

What other Web3 projects are you super excited about right now?

There are plenty of projects I am excited about, like those on the ICON blockchain due to their xCall technology, which will benefit a lot of NFT projects.
