Web3 Devs Poland: Building a Community for Polish Developers

Can you tell us about your project, Web3 Devs Poland?

We are the first and biggest community of Polish Web3 developers. Our mission is to create a space similar to Developer DAO in Poland where Polish Devs can learn, network, hack, and build together.

As a Project Lead, can you tell us about your background and how you got involved in this project?

I started the project with other friends, and we wanted to create the first Polish DAO. We managed to get to 200 members but because of the lack of focus, we failed.

After that, another team started Web3 Devs Poland, and eventually, I joined them, and now I am helping them on many fronts. As I am also a DAO Operator in Developer DAO, I had many experiences with this community as well and was able to support them.

Why do you like using Zealy?

I love the gamification part of Web3 and how easy it is to give rewards to members of the community.

You don't even know how much relief I had when I discovered it. To be able to streamline the process for members and reward them with tokens along the way is fantastic!

What's your Quest strategy like - and your absolute favourite Quest?!

I think the biggest winner is the most basic one, which is to invite more friends.

By structuring the Quest in increments of "invite 1/10/50/100 friends" you can help your community to grow and more importantly reward your community members appropriately.

What Rewards do you currently offer your community?

We offer them XP and special Discord roles. We also (sometimes) do small rewards like books or coupons.

Our partners are giving our members special offers - once our community got their own unique NFT avatars on another platform, and I think that was pretty cool.

Why is your community the best?

Our community is the best in Poland because nobody else is focusing on devs as much as we do. That's where we shine!

What trends do you see in Web3? What are your predictions for what's coming up next?

Solutions like blockchain-as-a-service have the potential to have the biggest impact soon.

Algorand is already tinkering with the topic of sub-nets. If anyone was able to create their own blockchain simply and easily and leverage it, that would open up a completely new stream of ideas and projects coming from non-tech members of the Web3 community.

What other Web3 projects are you also super excited about right now?

Developer DAO is starting season 2, in which there will be a DevRel Incubator. This community rocks, and I can't wait to see it grow.
