Exploring Vision Protocol: The Future of Gamified Markets
The 1st Web3 Protocol to host & compete in prediction battle royales on Arbitrum️
Tell us about your Project
Vision Protocol allows Users to host and compete in gamified prediction games on Arbitrum. It started with an anonymous team that believes the 'earn-to-X' model is the most effective way to scale user adoption.
We chose Prediction Markets and Options as our main products and simplified/gamified them, allowing users to predict token prices and real-world events in a gaming format such as battle royale, PvP, and many more.
Our mission is to deliver a platform that introduces new earning opportunities through highly entertaining predictions.
We position ourselves in the GameFi category. With the growth of Real Yield and Pool-to-Peer models, we believe that Vision Protocol can tackle the inflation dilemma from the previous generation of GameFi.
Tell us about yourself as CM
My role as a CM Lead consists of managing Vision Protocol's community and crafting a unique experience for existing and new members.
I became involved in Vision Protocol through my group of Degens who are super excited to create a 'Degen' product for Users to ape in.
I have been in the space since 2017 and worked in pretty much every sector, from CeFi to DeFi and GameFi.
My journey has really enlightened me about the potential of Web3. Every day, there are always cool things and innovations that amaze me.
Web3 really brings people together from across the globe to share the same vision of mass adoption in the future. That's the best thing about Web3. We look forward to a future of digital and decentralization.
Why do you like using Zealy?
Community plays the most crucial role when building and scaling projects, and Zealy provides the right tools to create a holistic community experience.
We love Zealy because the platform has undoubtedly levelled up Web3 marketing by helping project owners drive awareness, create engaging campaigns, and build a tightly-knit community.
We use the platform daily, and the impact has been superb. We have been in the space for 3+ years and have pretty much experienced all kinds of marketing/growth hack tools, but Zealy is the most effective platform.
Zealy has helped us find the very first community members and maintain a small circle of supporters since day 1 at zero cost.
The Quests we use the most are the 'social-network Quests' because in early-stage projects, getting more people to know about you is crucial.
We tweet casually and share it on Zealy, and then our supporters jump in and help us spread the news across Twitter. Thus, organic traffic has gone up significantly.
What’s your Quest strategy like - and your absolute favourite Quest?
I would like to break it down into a funnel, including awareness, perception, and action. The ultimate goal of community management is to keep your members informed about the project's development and drive actions on-chain.
For awareness, I typically look at "social network" Quests that help amplify exposure, especially on Twitter. I believe that it is a great tool to drive the community's voice. WGMI together. These are my absolute favourite Quests.
Perception is where we create Quests that seamlessly tap into their mind. For example, we created a quiz series for users with a reward to encourage them to learn more about our project.
We pushed it further by creating distinctive roles on Discord, and users need to unlock a sequence of Quests to claim the role. We can design it in a way that after they claim the role, they are well informed about what we want to communicate.
Action can be driven through "Community Quests". We have not launched the product yet, so the tasks are about following our socials, amplifying exposure, and leading Users to read our Gitbook.
What Rewards do you currently offer your community?
OGs, WLs, NFTs, and some small fiats. We can guarantee that we can create the most exciting experience through innovation. We do things differently by creating a new product that no one has ever done before.
What trends do you see in Web3? What are your predictions for what’s coming up next?
Gaming needs to come back to drive millions of new users. Axie did it, and someone else will do it in the future (it could be us).
I think projects that generate real value and profit without printing any incentive tokens will live a long life in the space.
What other Web3 projects are you also super excited about right now?
Trader Joe for UI/UX is super friendly and easy to understand. TreasureDAO is also exciting with its gaming ecosystem.
I'm also passionate about options protocols such as Hegic and Lyra (I feel like they will be adopted soon in the space).
